Another day of school through lunchtime. Then the whole group of American and German students (34 altogether today) got on a train and headed to the very picturesque university town of Tübingen. We started with an hour of 'Stocherkahnfahren' (punting) on the Neckar river - it took three boats to fit the whole group. On the return portion of the boat ride, the 'drivers' allowed students to try driving the boat if they wanted to - may did! There was some time to explore the town - a couple of students went into the church in the center of town and discovered a bible from the 1500s that they were able to touch - pretty incredible! We then returned to Stuttgart and the students went off with their partners.
